Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her role as the protagonist in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Also known for her film roles that she's appeared on, including "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack is a native of Connecticut, born into a family with no entertainment connections at all in her family tree is the child of a clinical therapy professional and an owner of an ice cream parlor. In the wake of separation from her parents, McCormack went to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In the year 1990, following finishing her studies at Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA in English, she was awarded a degree. The career of the actress began at the young age of 12, when she performed in a stage production of an opera for Christmas titled 'Amahl and the Night Visitors'. McCormack continued to perform at the theater as well as landing roles that were on small screens and big. McCormack has been recognized as the most well-known and most versatile performers. Married to producer cum director Michael Morris, she has three daughters.
